Your Role

The Sr. Business Operations Manager oversees certain operational and expansion projects from implementation to completion – gathering requirements and objectives from stakeholders, then driving towards key outcomes. You will work collaboratively across all levels and departments of the company, forming the “connective tissue” of a rapidly growing business. We are building the foundation for national scale, and you will tether our day-to-day business activities to that ambition. Your purview may include construction and commissioning, software and digitization, as well as operational excellence.

This job is based out of Greater Boston, requires regular attendance at our HQ and satellite sites, and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

What We're Looking For

· BS or higher in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Supply Chain/Operations, or related field

· 2-5+ years of experience in project or program management related to one of the following: Biopharma, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Lab Management, or related field

· Experience with the following considered a plus: Good Manufacturing Practices, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Third Party Logistics, Supply Chain

· Demonstrated ability to plan and successfully execute multiple projects simultaneously

· Excellent with the nuanced aspects of project management: anticipating risks, developing plans, engaging and motivating team members, balancing competing priorities, etc.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Capable of working with large data sets

· Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to move projects through obstacles

· Experience with broad range of professional software: Microsoft Office, NetSuite (or other ERP), Atlassian (Confluence, Jira) or similar project management tools, etc.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate and standardize Operational processes that support the monthly billing cycle

· Work alongside Senior Management to develop a KPI dashboard integrating new and existing data streams, providing visibility across the company

· Standardize and support the recruiting, training and onboarding to the Asset Management Team

· Outline, populate and socialize our internal Knowledge Base (e.g. Confluence or Notion)

· Document company OKR program, including a near-term Operations roadmap, and tracking KPIs against strategic goals

· Complete occasional technical writing assignments, including SOPs and training guides

· Lead productive meetings and provide updates to upper management with confidence

· Additional special projects that arise as part of the company’s rapid growth plan
