- Specialized Packaging:
To ensure the integrity and safety of the materials during transport, we use:- Primary Receptacles: Cryo-vials with secure threaded caps and silicone washers.
- Secondary Packaging**: Closed boxes that can withstand cryogenic storage.
- Outer Packaging: Portable cryogenic liquid nitrogen refrigerated shippers (Dewar flasks) or liquid nitrogen-cooled freezers, capable of maintaining temperatures between -80°C and -196°C.
- Dedicated Vehicles:
Our specially designed refrigerated trucks are operated by trained Tobin Scientific personnel, ensuring that your hazardous materials are handled by experts. Each vehicle is equipped with emergency equipment and a back-up liquid nitrogen supply to maintain the necessary temperatures throughout the journey.
