Position Overview:
As the Sales Operations Manager at Tobin Scientific, you will optimize our sales team's performance and processes to support company growth. This role will oversee data management, forecasting, and technology implementation, while working closely with sales leadership to set strategic goals. You will also be responsible for driving change management efforts, ensuring that new tools and processes are adopted smoothly as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all CRM data, regularly audit and maintain data consistency to support effective decision-making.
- Prepare detailed reports and forecasts on sales team and individual performance, providing actionable insights to guide strategy.
- Monitor the progression of leads through the sales funnel, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to enhance sales velocity and success rates.
- Continuously refine and optimize sales processes to reduce friction, ensuring that workflows are scalable and efficient as the company grows.
- Evaluate, integrate, and maintain sales automation tools that enhance the team's ability to perform efficiently and stay competitive.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to set realistic, data-driven goals for both individual reps and the overall team, aligning with company objectives.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, marketing, operations) to ensure alignment between sales processes and broader business goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales operations professionals, driving productivity and operational excellence.
- Lead efforts to introduce and implement new processes, systems, and technologies, ensuring smooth transitions and strong team adoption.
- Develop sales processes that support Tobin Scientific’s scaling initiatives, ensuring adaptability to evolving client needs and market demands
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, preferably in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and optimize sales processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Expertise in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive) and sales automation tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a sales operations team.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a focus on process improvement, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficient in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI tracking, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience leading change management initiatives and ensuring smooth adoption of new tools or processes.
