Emergency Power Configuration Issue
Utilized Mobile Cold Rooms to ensure client's sample integrity
A client was relocating to a new facility that required backup power for various types of freezers. However, the new site's power configuration was insufficient to support their needs. The client needed temporary storage for their equipment while resolving the power issues, and there was no space on-site for a powered trailer.
Tobin Scientific leveraged fully-monitored RGT trailers to transport the freezers to our Biorepository, where they were connected to multiple levels of contingency power. Since the client did not need immediate access to the materials in the freezers, this solution provided a secure and stable environment. When the client required access to materials, Tobin utilized Mobile Cold Rooms with regulated temperatures to transport materials back and forth, ensuring the integrity of all samples.
The client was able to take the necessary time to redesign their power configuration, ensuring stability and longevity for their new facility. Throughout the process, no biological samples were compromised, despite significant logistical challenges.
Tobin provided RGT until a technician was able to service a client facility.
